Even though I felt it was not right to pay the entire bill of $95 for detailing someone's car, I did feel it was right to own up to my word. Plus, I do work somewhat closely with this person and I didn't want things to get worse nor did I want things to get more awkward. I went ahead and paid the bill. She thanked me and said she didn't want things to be awkward between us. I agreed.
On to other things....
Today we had an ice cream social for the Studen Appreciation Week for our students. I volunteered to bring in the nuts for ice cream. I candied them. What a mess. Mom normally buys raw nuts, but this time, she had roasted nuts. It was hard roasting nuts that were already roasted. By the time I roasted them, they looked like rat poop. =/ Seriously. I just about freaked. What Mom doesn't know, is that I ruined about 2 cups of nuts and threw them in a bag and took them home so she didn't know......I suppose she'll realize how much is gone when she grabs the bag that so much is gone! hahaha. Anyway, I suppose it turned out okay. Everyone said how good they turned out.
