Birthday Trip to Utah

Mom and Dad bought a ticket to Utah for me! I flew out with Dad on March 4-8th to see Dalane, George, Carson and Natalie! And, how precious she is! Oh my goodness! She is the sweetest little pea!

I had a BLAST! Thursday morning, Dad and I drove to Augusta so he could teach his two classes. I really enjoyed seeing the campus (little of what I saw) and spending the day at the university. From there, we drove to the Atlanta airport and flew to Houston-then Houston to SLC. It was snowing hard on the way into Salt Lake! It was beautiful to wake up and see snow!

Friday, we took a tour of the LDS Humanitarian Center. It was amazing!

Then we went to Draper to In-n-Out Burger. Steve has raved about this place forever. I don't know if it's just me, but to me, it was just another fast food place. It was good....but....

I went shopping and got some fabulous jeans that make my booty look bootilious! hahaha. Then we drove down to Spanish Fork and I hung out with Emily and her friends for the evening. We had such a great time, that we forgot to take pics! I'm kicking myself for not remembering! Booo!

Saturday, Joy came over and took us shopping. We went to this huge warehouse place that sells really nice clothes that stores don't sell. You got about 40% off with extra % off when you spinned the wheel. I got about 4 items for about $40! It was a great deal!

Saturday night, we got tickets to the Utah Jazz game. They played the LA Clippers. We were 3rd row! It was AWESOME! It was my first NBA game. I'll be honest, I wasn't too thrilled on going since I am not a basketball fan. But, being right in front of the players, practically smelling the sweat, it was pretty dang awesome! Seeing all those giants up close just reminds me why I love tall men so much! We got to eat really yummy food, too! Thanks Dalane's boss for the tickets! We had a great time!

Sunday, Natalie got blessed. She was beautiful! Dad gave the blessing. It was really nice. A lot of the family came up for it. It was so great to visit with everyone!

On my birthday, March 8th, we flew home. =(
