Mothers Know Best

So, um, yes, mom has proven to me in the last week that mothers really do know best! I made such a quick decision on signing up to sell the jewelry, but I really hadn't thought about how I was going to do it or how I was going to make the money....until mom asked me. My first thought of signing up, was "Ooooh, jewelry! I get this much and this for free, etc." I hadn't thought it through.

The jewelry package arrived yesterday, but mom refused the package for me. As long as I didn't open it, I could return it free shipping and cancel my account.

Maybe one day I will decide to do this after having thought about it for much longer! For now, I'll just buy the jewelry from my dear friend and enjoy it that way!

Secondly, I tried to fix the little car light. It basically had fallen loose and was hanging. It was kind of embarrassing driving around town when it would randomly fall. Sticking a tissue I had from my pocket would help keep it secure. I finally decided this needed to be fixed. Mom suggested a good glue she had called "monkey glue" sold from the Hobby Lobby store. She mentioned that it was sticky but I didn't know that it was THAT sticky. Damn, that stuff would not come off my hands. I tried EVERYTHING. I scrubbed my hands until they were raw. I'm not sure if I'm currently peeling the glue off my hands or if it's a layer of skin. hahaha. By the way, it didn't work. The light fell a few hours after I glued it. Mom expressed that she told me how sticky that stuff was. Somehow, I missed that bit of information! She fixed it for me, because I would not touch that stuff!

So, the moral of the story is....LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER. As much as I hate it sometimes, she really does know best. Damn it.
