That doesn't sound right, does it? Because it's true! I'm not physically moved in! My things are moved in but my body isn't moved into the house! =( Currently, my third bedroom which is now going to be a "walk-in closet" and the bathroom is being renovated. Until it is done, I can't move in. Sigh. I'm living wtih Mom and Dad for now.
Here are a few pictures of some of the projects going on at the house.
We ran into a small problem when the wall was taken down. A large black pipe from the 50's was found. We had to call a plumber to come in to repipe everything in the bathroom.
I'm am putting a larger vanity put in for more counter space. Before, it was a tiny vanity. No counter!
Closed the bedroom closet (where the wall was in the bathroom), so I can now put a dresser on the wall.

My new fenced in yard. Or a portion of the yard! Gracie is going to love it! The workers put in a wood fence to cover the electrical stuff for Gracie to keep her from chewing on the cords. However, they misunderstood and put it around the AC unit. Absolutely NO access to the unit at all. The offer to do it was free, but it was wrong. However awkward it was for Dad to tell them it was wrong, he did it. I noticed they came back and started to put holes in the right area. So... the process has been started. I just feel, that if it's going to be done, it should be done right whether it's free or not.
Little things happen, of course, but we're getting through it. I'm hoping the custom made vanity will be able to come in sooner than we think, so I can get moved in!!!! Well, it's time to end this post, as I'm heading to Savannah with Mother to look at chairs for the house! I love this house stuff! I don't know if I'm saying it sarcastically or not. In the end I know I will love it!
