I tend to let people ruffle my feathers too easily. So here's another rant I have. And, I saw this on Facebook, of course. A friend of mine posts this:
CK: And thanks to Martin Luther King for trying to teach the world what Human Kindness Truly is... Have we learned anything?????
JHM: not much...unfortunately
JB: I'd say we have. Slowly. Progress not perfection...we have a lot more to go but compared to many other cultures, we are far, far ahead.
ME: I think he'd be proud of the progress we've made so far.
ME: And, no offense, but J, really? Are you serious?

Okay, as far as I know, I think JHM is a teacher. Whether or not she is, she's an educated person. But seriously? "not much...unfortunately" is an acceptable answer for herself? She may be speaking for the general public or even those that may not even care about MLK, but he has taught something to ALL of us. He made a huge impact on ALL of our lives in some way or another. Ugh; things like that irritate me!
