This morning I met the new "regional manager" of the complex that I live in. Apparently last month it was bought out by a different company/owner, so some of the staff has changed. I was happy to come home to finally have things fixed, but the maintanence man did not find the source of the leak. I finally did.

So, I called the office this morning to notify them to have them come back in and fix it. The new manager asked me if I had a dog. I said "yes" and she continued to tell me that there were numerous complaints about the barking and that she also couldn't find the bill that I had paid a deposit. Okay, this was 2004 when I moved in. I paid a deposit and everything else that needed done to move in. Now whether or not they kept up with the records is NOT my fault. On a good note, the manager was very nice and said to "keep doing what I'm doing and not worry about the dog" especially if I've lived there for 4 years and never had a problem till the neighbor below me started complaining. I also informed her of the problems/feuding we've had since she had moved in with the loud music/my dog etc. I told her that I'm a quiet and respectful neighbor. She liked that and apparently liked me.
What makes me mad is the fact that my neighbor thinks she can try to "throw me under the bus" by making complaints about me and Gracie since we now have new management!! She better watch out!
P.S. Three maintenance visits and two different men couldn't find the source of the toilet problem but one little woman who knows nothing about fixing toilets could. Go figure!! Ü
