Yeah, that would be me. Um, the one waiting. I had an appointment here on campus with the health center to get a flu shot since I was the slacker in getting one earlier this fall. Anyway, I walked in, paid for my services, and waited and waited and waited. I saw probably 4 other people walk in with appointments for flu shots walk in and out easily. I thought, "Something isn't right" so I decided to go check on it. Sure enough, they forgot about me. They made me go back and sit down, but I ended up sitting next to a student who was hacking and sneezing the entire time. I thought, "Oh no! I'm going to get sick before I even get this flu shot!"
I'm good to go. I've gotten both shots-seasonal and H1N1. Now, lets cross fingers that I don't get sick like I did earlier this year!
P.S. So, I'm feeling a little flushed, I have a headache and my arm is slightly sore. I'm not sure if this is from the shot this morning but it certainly is happening after having taken it. I normally don't get sick from getting one. My co-worker says it's in my head and that I'm making it up. I think she needs to mind her beeswax and let me decide to say if my body feels sick from it or not.
