Yesterday, I got to my parent's to pick up the "kid." Their dog, Holly, and I went to say "hi" to Gracie. The funniest thing happened. I called Holly over to where I was sitting, but Gracie kept turning circles to block Holly from getting to me. I had never seen her do that before! Holly kept trying. Gracie kept blocking. Finally, to Holly's advantage (being tiny), she jumped into the chair next to me and waited for me to pet her. Smart little dog. A sneaky one, that is!
Gracie has LOVED her days spent at "Grandma's and Papa's!" I've been a good mama. She has been pooped out from playing so hard.
This weekend is going to be a challenge. We'll have to ease our way back into the crate for an hour or two. Who knew dogs would end up being children?

Sam tries to put the block on Libby too! It's funny. Of course Libby is so small she can jump right over her to get in my lap. Oh well... can't blame a dog for trying.
