I saw this movie a while back when I bought it on iTunes, but it was on USA yesterday. I watched it again for the second time. I still did not find the acting that great, except from Helen Mirren and James Cromwell.
Boy, let me tell you...my first and second thoughts when watching the movie both times was, "She is a total bitch!" I did have to sit back and think about it for a while though. She did become queen when she was young, as my friend reminded me. This is the kind of life that she has always lived. She did not express feelings out in the open. I still think she's a bitch. We may not know how she truly is, but from the movie point...she is made out to be a total bitch. And, she was NOT happy with Prime Minister Tony Blair and the way things were done in the public regarding Diana's death. It was also obvious how much she disliked Diana. How could anyone not like her?
I would LOVE to make it over to her grave site. I have my little shrine here at work on my desk that my friend gave me when she was in London. I have a book about her. When she died, I taped the funeral. Danielle gave me the purple beanie bear, and I have the Elton John cd dedicated to Diana. So you see, I love Princess Di. And, I love my little shrine. I will have to save my pennies and make it over there one day.
Everyone else that has made it over there, has been so kind to take pictures for me!

I've always been a Princess Dyana fan too! I remember getting up really early in the morning to watch her wedding on TV. I also remember exactly where I was when I found out she had died. So tragic and sad.
Ooops... I meant DIANA! Look, I spelled her name your way. Too funny!
